Beautiful setting and lovely staff. Back garden (where the fish are) was lovely, so peaceful, pretty and relaxing. The gardens generally were beautiful. Hotel room was lovely but could have had a fridge and also should really have access to SKY and International TV channels (This - for a hotel of this quality - really should be standard). In the summer, the local walks and access to nearby beaches means there is plenty of leisure and outdoor activity; for the winter period however, it would be...

Very happy we chose this hotel loved the boutique room and glad we ate in the restaurant as the food was outstanding, also worth taking the time to walk around the village as very pretty and well kept. Stayed here as close to Arundel castle which was also amazing.

Comfortable stay for a wedding. The breakfast was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. Only comment is that the shower took a while to get hot and maybe the room could do with a little bit of homely touches/modernising to make it even nicer.

Great initial welcome from Mike, backed up by some wonderful idiosyncratic features that uplifted the stay. Complimentary Sipsmiths Sloe Gin in the room, choice of two single malt whiskies (also complimentary) and freshly brewed coffee at the refreshments station were unexpected and warmly enjoyed! Restaurant and bar staff were very helpful and food preparation and presentation were excellent. The breakfast of blueberry pancakes were the prettiest presentation we've ever seen.

If prices drop or new rooms become available, you could be among the first to book your last-minute escape.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could assist you in finding a better rate for your stay in Petworth. If you're in search of something distinctive, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer improved value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but with Petworth's excellent public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often fantastic value for money to be found.
