This hotel is even better in person! The service was outstanding, the hotel is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are really comfy & well decorated. The breakfast area is stunning with animal art/paintings all over, wonderful music playing and the food was delicious and varied. They even made “sagu” for us and this wasn’t even on their menu. 10 out of 10!

Roteiro de Charme, de verdade!
Foi apenas uma diária, uma parada para descanso no meio de uma viagem longa. Quem me dera tivesse ficado mais tempo! O Solar do Império faz jus ao título de Roteiros de Charme. Para quem confunde hotel antigo com velho, recomendo se hospedar neste delicioso palacete de 150 anos para perceber a diferença. Os ambientes amplos, arejados, com decoração primorosa, não só nos abraçam e trazem aconchego como nos fazem esquecer da vida lá fora e mergulhar na história. Sobre os serviços: café da manhã delicioso, tudo fresquinho e com quitutes preparados na hora; chazinho da tarde pra acalmar o estômago e esquentar a alma; suítes extremamente confortáveis (mesmo a Colonial, a mais simples, é gigantesca!); uma deliciosa piscina aquecida; um jardinzão para se perder entre livros, bater papo ou simplesmente não pensar em nada; uma equipe muito atenciosa, profissional e gentil. E ainda dá pra esquecer o carro no hotel e fazer muitos passeios a pé. Experiência inesquecível!

Apenas razoável
O local é muito bonito, mas há bastante barulho - por ser muito próximo à rua e a um bar que tem música ao vivo. A piscina é relativamente pequena e tem poucas cadeiras disponíveis. O café da manhã e bem gostoso, porém tem pouca variedade - os bolos, pães, doces, geleias e até frutas foram basicamente os mesmos nos 3 dias em que fiquei lá. Enfim, trata-se de um local razoável, mas longe de ser realmente bom.

Hotel aconchegante no centro de Petrópolis
Acredito ser um dos melhores hotéis de Petrópolis. O ambiente proporciona uma sensação de retornar aos tempos imperiais. Nos sentimos bastante acolhidos no Hotel. Café da manhã bom e funcionários muito atenciosos. Por ser uma estrutura antiga, precisa de alguns reparos externos, mas nada que atrapalhe a hospedagem e afete a beleza do hotel.

Viagem no Tempo
Um casarão de época com arquitetura no estilo neoclássico muito bonito, com jardins razoavelmente bem cuidados. Bem localizada, próxima a diversas atrações. Por ser uma construção antiga e tombada sofre com a recorrente infiltração e umidade, portanto ao se hospedar cuide de observar o quarto que vai se hospedar. No primeiro piso a construção está assentada diretamente no solo, o que propicia o surgimento de sinais de mofo causando odor desagradável (muito ruim para pessoas alérgicas). Prefira quartos mais ventilados e do lado mais ensolarado ou no piso superior. Quanto aos colaboradores, são empenhados em resolver os problemas e bem atender os hóspedes, mas carecem de melhor treinamento ou uma supervisão de tutores experientes. Quanto a suíte que nos hospedamos, no térreo, era bem conservada e com bons materiais, roupa de cama e banho de qualidade, ambiente muito limpo. Ressalvo, no entanto, sem reclamações, mas apenas sugestões aos gestores visando a melhoria do empreendimento quanto: 1) no café da manhã deveria ter um cardápio com as opções daquilo que é oferecido a pedido (que não está no buffet) - o hóspede tem que ficar perguntando o que tem, ou os atendentes ficam enumerando as opçoes para escolha (e podem esquecer algum prato); 2) o misturador do chuveiro da suíte não tem regulagem, ou vc toma banho quente ou toma banho frio; 3) não existe dispositivo de sinalização na porta do quarto para as arrumadeiras; No geral é uma boa hospedagem. Com certeza voltaria.
