Value for money
We had a nice stay, we went in January so there were a lot of retired guests around. For the price it was worth it (compared to the neighbouring hotels which were more expensive) but our room waa directly under the dining room so there was always noise when they moved the chairs around. Other than that the service was very friendly and there is a spar conveniently located in the hotel.

We only wanted a little 5 night break, we normally do book all inclusive but decided self catering as only there for a short time, we arrived midday and our room was ready and what a suprise we had, over looking the pool, lovely big balcony with sunbeds to relax on if not wanting to go to the pool, the apartment itself was lovely and bright, 1 bedroom and bathroom and a sofa bed ( that was the only let down) it was rock solid unfortunately, this could easily be fixed with a topper that they use on the beds to make it more comfortable. The grounds of the hotel was lovely, entertainment was plenty, bingo and happy hour at the same time was a must!! We can’t comment on the food as we was self catering, we ate in the europa centre and down at the commercial centre where you do need a taxi, we chose to walk one night but the pavements were very sloppy so you really need to be careful, we found the walk down to Amadores beach was easier and was able to walk in the road, got to the bottom and then did the costal walk which was a lovely 60 mins sounds a lot but it was a lovely walk…We didn’t want our short break to end, but for what we paid we was really pleased with this hotel! We would recommend and ourselves are already wanting to come back! Hopefully soon! Thanks Altamar for a fantastic 5 nights! Wished it was longer!!! See you again!!

March break
First time at that area of Gran Canaria and very pleased we stayed at this hotel. All rooms appear to have the same excellent view and generous veranda with loungers, chairs and table. Rooms were lovely with living space and bedroom both with sliding doors onto the veranda and the room was well-equipped for any occasions of self-catering needs. Both areas with ceiling fans and windows for cooling off. With a shop on site, this made everything very easy. Hotel facilities were very enjoyable and we made use of the two pools, restaurant and entertainment. The site is high above the option of two beach areas that are both easily accessible via foot if you for the fitter and by regular free bus service should you require this. Ample taxis for direct and instant transport too. Altogether a very enjoyable stay and would definitely go back with confidence.
Balconies are just like advertised with loungers, table/parasol and chairs. Our view on arrival at room. Generally south facing so sunshine all day.

le plus la grande terrasse, de l'appartement, avec une superbe vue sur la mer, assez bien ensoleillée jusqu'à 19h environ (en mai), le fait qu'il y ait 2 piscines, dont une, plus réservée pour les familles avec enfants Le moins c'est le bruit raisonnable, dû aux travaux de l'hotel en face qui est en rénovation, mais surtout le parking clientèle, gros point noir !

Højt helligende på toppen af Puerto Rico med flot udsigt. Fint børnevenligt hotel med gode faciliteter. Mange trapper, så der var run på de 2 elevatorer, det kunne give en del udfordringer. Et kæmpe plus med gratis bus til stranden og ned til centrum i Puerto Rico.

Inte som förväntat.
Hotellet erbjuder blandat upplevelser. Fantastisk personal .Frukostutbudet dåligt. Maten oftast inte varm, långa köer för att få en omelett. Vattnet i baren smakade inte bra. Det saknas bekväma platser att sitta på då man inte äter. Resväskorna fick bäras nerför branta trappor. Oftast lång väntetid för att komma med linbanehissen.

Great hotel, they care about cleanliness, the service is nice and helpful. Rooms cleaned daily, beach closest to Playa Amadores 15 minutes on foot, taxi cost 2.5 - 3 euro. The view from the hotel is captivating, each has a balcony overlooking the sea and deckchairs on the balcony, for me it is a big plus. There is a hairdresser, nail styling and massage services on site. We will remember our stay at this hotel. Delicious food.

Me encantó todo, lo único desagradable e insoportable ya es que no hay PRIVACIDAD, ya que la gente entra de un apartamento a otro como si nada, a pedir cigarros o lo que sea, ni tocan la puerta de la terraza para saber si pueden entrar o no, etc... no se puede dejar la puerta abierta un poco porque capaz que entran y roban y si estas en el baño o cualquier cosa ni te enteras porque tampoco se puede cerrar la puerta porque hace mucho calor en el mes de verano, es increíble la falta de educación que tienen.

Mucha apariencia y muy poca calidad
No repetiría en este hotel, para todo el hotel disponen de 8 plazas de aparcamiento que nunca están libres, y el uso del coche en este hotel es fundamental ya que está en un acantilado y es necesario para bajar de alguna manera a la playa. Cada vez que movías el coche luego el encontrar aparcamiento suponía como mínimo 30 min dando vueltas. Siendo coche de alquiler si aparcas mal se le llevará la grua. En cuanto al hotel Los Gatos se pasean como si la recepción fuese su casa e incluso duermen en los sofás de la recepción, la habitación en la que estuvimos no tenía acceso directo desde el ascensor teníamos que bajar y subir dos tramos de escaleras de 20 peldaños cada tramo. La habitación esta reformada y nueva en nuestro caso la 120A pero la limpieza brilla por su ausencia ya que ni siquiera estaban limpias las rebabas de la lechada de los azulejos, la limpieza es una vez cada dos días consiste en barrer, hacer la cama y cambiar las toallas. Por otro lado el buffet al cual para llegar a el desde nuestra habitación hay que atravesar la piscina la cual está llena de charcos todas las mañanas ya que riegan el pavimento para limpiarlo, el bufet se puede decir que hay poca variedad y las normas COVID no se respetan mucho ya que la comida la cogen todos los clientes con las mismas pinzas y los cocineros están continuamente con estas pinzas manipulando la comida para colocarla, en la zona de ensaladas siempre había entre las hojas de lechuga mosquitos. El todo incluido es de máquina.
