Cozy weekend stay
We stayed in the new apartments behind the main building and the space was roomy, clean, and had a nice patio to sit on/let our dog lounge on. The breakfast was excellent and a noon checkout time made our last day a breeze since we didn’t have to rush out.

Super hotel with a very noisy church nearby
The staff was very nice and always willing to make your stay perfect. The variety at Breakfast was real Bavarian like - super. The only downfall was the church right next to the hotel. Every 15 minutes the bell chimed. Once at 15 min., twice at 30 min., 3 times at 45 min. and 4 times on the hour and also the hour as well (up to 12 times), starting over at midnight). It made a restful sleep very difficult.

Great location outside Munich with quick metro ride into city. Average room (stayed in apartment) and restaurant was good. Wifi wasn't working well and coffee cups (in apartment) were dirty from people before us. Beds were comfortable but room was hot even with the windows open. Not unhappy with our stay but will stick to Airbnb for extended stays.

Welcome pleasant surprise, excellent.
Stopover on the trip to Croatia. Really convenient to motorway but in lovely village. Great room, excellent bed, balcony and extremely good and friendly service. The restaurant has indoor and superb outdoor tables. Food quality and service excellent at a reasonable price, very decent wine. would recommend this as being a really pleasant surprise for a tired,fussy traveller.

Nice out of the city hotel.
This is a family owned and run hotel. They take pride in their work, and it shows. The train station is a convenient 10 to 15 minute walk and the center of Munich can be reached in another 15 to 20 minute train ride. The location is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Because it is family-owned, there are multiple generations working. They always say hello and provide a warm greeting. There was some language struggle with grandma and grandpa, but never a question that they wanted to make us happy and serve in anyway they could. The breakfast is fantastic. A selection of fresh squeezed juices, breads, pastries, meats, cheeses, fruit, cereal, etc. I highly recommend this hotel. The next time I am back in the Munich area I will be staying here.

Wonderful Stay
Booking late for Oktoberfest brought us to the Gasthof Hotel Neuwirt outside of Munich in Zorneding. Metro is a short 10 minute walk from hotel & 30 minutes into Munich city center. Our arrival was a bit daunting as not one person spoke English...the lovely owner attended to us but it was difficult not speaking German. Granted we were not in a touristy town, but it was my first experience checking into any hotel where we could not communicate whatsoever. BUT we did and I must say that our stay was pleasant & comfortable. We stayed in the apartments in back of the hotel, decorated in a modern 'IKEA' style very dissimilar to the Bavarian architecture & decor of the main building. The breakfast was great & we came back for dinner at the hotel restaurant & it was superb! We fell in love with the owner of the hotel, though we could not communicate with words...we seemed to understand each other with jesters and smiles. Will be returning again oneway to this lovely hotel in the quiet & beautiful Zorneding.
