First time staying at a hostel. It was quite an experience. I loved it. I slept on top of the bunkbed but it keeps on making a sound every time i move and felt bad for the lady sleeping at the bottom. I hope they fix that problem cause the place wasnt bad at all especially for the price.

Hard to bathroom at night.

This was an ok hostel, the semi private suite share the bathroom with the other members but we couldn’t use the kitchen etc as it could wake them up. The bathroom was a door away so I had to open a door to get to the bathroom and go through the other people and possibly wake them. If there could be a curtain between the bunks and the bathroom or something that would be helpful

Easy to access beach, stores, bus, hikes. Staff is polite and friendly/helpful, with one exception who seems to act like it’s his home vs a workplace, and how he interacts with women vs men, like it’s a competition. I had roaches throughout my stay and notified David (same one who is the exception) but he was talking with a girl (his priority) and said he’d check it out the next day and never did, and never followed up. Other staff was able to help. First time at a hostel and I would go back, but there are some things that need to be addressed.

Room was extremely hot and made it difficult to sleep. Beds are cheap so they move a lot when climbing to the top bunk. If you’re looking for cheap this is definitely that. Bathroom door also was difficult to lock, and sometimes didn’t lock. Lobby area is great, and staff were pleasant though. Location is nice, beach is <5 min walk.
