Traveled 3 days to visit family in Enkhuizen. Could not have asked for a nicer stay. Warm friendly hosts, extremely clean, room larger than expected and breakfast a full spread. Would recommend to anyone. Oh! And within 2 minutes walking distance to everything. Perfect.

Very nice staff and great breakfast. For those Americans driving to the hotel, be prepared for very narrow roads. Very close to the Zuiderzee Museum. Highly recommended. Only con was the lack of a shower fan.

Overall, Het Wapen van Enkhuizen was a nice place to stay and would stay again. Thje hosts were very friendly and the room was comfortable for my 1-night stay. The location was good too, I was able to find some time to walk around and explore Enkhuizen with no issues. The two shower curtains in the bathroom slid to wall off the water. But, because the shower was so small, the curtains would stick on to my wet body as I washed, which was a little uncomfortable because I wasn't sure how often they were removed and clean.

Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das freundliche und aufmerksame Personal sowie den herzlichen Inhaber – man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Goede bedden, de eigenaar heel vriendelijk en het ontbijt goed geregeld. Het geheel is wel gedateerd en in de kamer was er veel stof op de lamp dat duidelijk te zien was als je de lamp aan deed. Het water in de wasbak liep vrijwel niet weg. Verder was alles goed verzorgd.
