Lodge Of The Ozarks

8/10 Good
"I love the large clean rooms and they have a decent breakfast. Three things that would make this a five star rated hotel are 1. Daily housekeeping should be expected not having to request day by day. 2. The towels are very rough… no need to exfoliate after using the towels. 3. A make up mirror that extends would be helpful in the bathroom and better lighting at the in room desk would be nice; that way while one is showering the other guest could use desk area for applying makeup."

6/10 Okay
"The rooms were clean, but housekeeping is for every other day so you will have to call for extra towels. They do provide a washer and dryer for free, but it is only one on each floor and have to be shared. We stayed in Villa 2 which was close to the basketball court so that meant we heard everything! Our room was also on the 3rd floor which meant every step or noise the people above us made were heard very clearly. If we were to stay again the 4th floor would be a best choice and because Vila 2 had 2 sections we would stay closer towards the middle section. Above the not being able to rest as well, the hotel is located in a great location is you want to stay closer to the activities. "

The Stone Castle Hotel & Conference Center

2/10 Terrible
"Our large room had a king size bed and a jacuzzi tub, a couch with worn off arms and duck tape patch on the front. No table or chairs. There was a lantern with 3 battery operated candles but NO BATTERIES. The outside door was not secure so anyone could enter from the outside. The breakfast buffet was COLD but decent selection. We didn't give the buffet a second chance since the family next to us said some of theirs was cold the day before. The room above us sounded like they were going to come through the ceiling at any moment! The girl with reddish hair that checked is in was a hard worker and nice. She was there again the 2nd day when i went to get more linens since we only had 2 washcloths in our room. I guess you get what you pay for. "

10/10 Excellent
"We had a great stay at this hotel and water park. It is an older hotel that they have done an excellent job making into a top notch facility. Very clean and friendly staff. Had an elevator even though it was only two floors. We paid extra for a room closer to water park and it was a short walk. The water park was also clean. The location was close to lots of retaurants and shops. They have a complementary party everynight from 10-12pm. We went one night and it was okay. We did not stay long because although the kids wanted to go they were really tired by that time. "
