I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Leo. I was only in Jeju for 2 full days and so wanted to be close to the airport. The hotel was really convenient, taxis are fairly cheap from the airport and there are also a number of buses that go very close to the hotel (and it’s only a few stops away from the airport + T money card works here). The hotel was also close to my day tour pick up point (literally a couple of minutes away). I was here during Chuseok so quite a few places were closed but in normal times, there are lots of food options nearby. On the hotel itself, the elevator was quick and efficient. My room was spacious and the bed and pillows were very comfy. Shower was great + electric toilet. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash in dispensers. There was a kettle in the room, a fridge, a hairdryer and a big tv (with Netflix). An LG steamer also in the room which was exciting but when I actually tried it, I found it took too long and results weren’t great. Still a cool contraption to try. Water bottles provided every day and fresh towels.
All the above made this a great stay but what added the cherry to the cake was Helen (the assistant manager) who was a dream and just amazing at her job. She made me feel welcome the second I arrived and I felt like I had a friend who gave me great recommendations every evening. She really is a star!
To note, I tried the buffet breakfast once, it was ok but not amazing. I wouldn’t get it daily.
