This property is not a 3 star property by any stretch of the imagination.
The hotel is in an OK area, although a bit dirty. It is close to the train station, but not walking distance with luggage and in the rain (it was a 10 euro cab ride- so no big deal). Check in was quick and friendly- the staff were very pleasant.
Upon entering the tiniest elevator that could barely fit us and our 2 pieces of luggage (carry on size), we arrived in our room which was tiny and crammed. We noticed our toilet wasn't working, so my husband called down to notify the front desk staff. He asked if we could be moved to another room, and they said no. He then asked if they could send someone to fix it, and the front desk sent up a maintenance worker to fix the problem after a short time. He was very pleasant and had it fixed quickly.
The bed was hard, and you could hear every noise both outside and in the rooms around you all night. The room stunk of bleach, and although was clean in the main areas, there was hair and dirt in corners and in the bathroom.
We called the next morning to ask to extend our check out by 30 minutes- an hour as I had come down with terrible food poisoning the night before. They said no, they don't allow late check out. My husband even offered to pay for this and they still declined. The staff were pleasant but the customer service is not up to par with what you would expect from a 3 star hotel, nor are the facilities.
