Beautiful grounds and location. The pool wasn’t very clean, the spa was closed, and there is no gym, so there’s not a ton in terms of amenities on the immediate grounds. Breakfast was lovely, though.

Hotel Villa Retiro has two types of rooms: One type is classic, and the other is modern minimalist. Both are nice, and both are large and comfortable.

Absolutely a lucky find while browsing Orbitz. Old Spanish charm and new, spacious rooms with plenty of amenities. I have paid much more in other hotels for a lot less. Don't miss Hotel Villa Retiro (and don't miss the restaurant while you are here).

Great service, spacious room with character

We arrived in the early evening and were greeted by the front desk and shown to our room. She then mentioned that the restaurant was closed but she could offer cheese, a salad, and wine. It was perfect. A groaning board breakfast was served to us once again even though the restaurant was officially closed for the day. Room was spacious with a balcony looking out on the property
