Only negative is that the accommodation is not close to anything. You have to drive everywhere.

This cottage was amazing for the price! Such a homely feel. We loved the fireplace and the views. It felt really clean.
I would just suggest putting a blanket on the couch 😊 that's what we did.

Amazing location and a beautiful cottage with plenty of room for the family. Waking up with a fantastic view and only a short drive to the local shops and beach. Fully equipped house and large bedrooms, huge dining area and lovely verandah to enjoy with a book while the local kangaroos lurk in the corner of your eye enjoying their surroundings.

No real facilities, no one to greet or show you to your accommodation, run down old caravan to sleep in, smelled damp and musty. I couldn’t stay in it and so told the owners, non the less they still charged me full rate of $117. Disgusted. Would not recommend to anyone

Hidden Gem
Stumbled upon this place when the rest of Bawley Point was booked out. What a hidden gem this is. Lovely cabins, free kayaks, 5mins from the beach, all located in a tranquil bush setting on the lake.
Will definitely stay here again, very impressed.

True to the name, the property has a beautiful bush setting next to the lake, very open and green, cottages are very well maintained , and just a few minutes to the beach , so best of both bush and beach , loved it

Tranquil hideaway from the world
My partner and I spent a few wonderful days here in the Chefs Cottage. Check in was via phone call from the office. We didn’t need to see a soul. And felt we were the only ones there. It was beautiful, tranquil and relaxing. On walks around the grounds we ran into kangaroos, saw and heard birds in the trees and watched swans on the lake. The cottage was lovely, clean and comfortable. We had a log fire in the evenings due to chilly nights. And had everything we needed. It’s wonderful for a hideaway but easy driving distance to local shops at Bawley Point or Ulladulla and a day out in Batemans Bay. We loved it

Peacefully and tranquil. Clean and most things available. Not sure about the composting toilet and limited drinking water only at specified taps which makes the daily tariff seem expensive for what you get. This Bush Retreat is far from services. Make sure you take in your provisions from the major centres as limited shops and no reception facilities. Overall expensive for what you get.

Quiet Haven
Stayed in a perfect retro caravan on the property. Large comfy bed and lots of extra provisions thoughtfully provided. A beautiful quiet spot very close to bush and beaches. Perfect in the winter. Thanks for a great two night stay. I'll be back.

"ONE THE BEST" places on the south coast
The moment we arrived till we had left the retreat. Had enjoyed every minute of of here. Home away from home but coastal lifestyle. 10/10 self contained for relaxation and beautiful bush spot. Everything is only mins away if you need a quick stop at the shops or a coffee too ect.. Amazing for our fur child "Juce". Customer service was 110% excellent. We shall definitely book again soon.

Great for dogs with tiled floors & floorboards although dogs asked not to be on "furniture" or annoy other guests, thought comment "$50 charged for any pickup needed after your stay" more of a penalty than a fee, guests need to feel welcome even if traveling with dogs. Compost toilet made me feel a little uncomfortable but nice to walk around the grounds with dogs.

Nice accommodation but their prices are high
I have been staying at their accommodation for 7 years
Over the years not much is changed in terms of what they offer, however their prices keeps increasing
Last stay for us, we can get better offers else where and our cabin was not peaceful at all Their laundry and cleaning supply store was attached to our accommodation and at least 10 staff cars driving in and out all day long
