We got a room in the basement, number 12, the only room in that floor. It was a strange room; good space but a shower in the middle of the room (also a shower in the bath room). The wiew was to the parking. The bath room had a bad smell that came into the room if the door was open and the door to the bath room was like an outside door. We stayed only for one night. The hotel said online that it had a gym, this is not correct. It is three years sins there was a gym room. The swimming pool was in an other hotel. We used it and it was great. Parking was good. We ate pizza at the restaurant at the hotell and it was great!

The hotel is becoming dated and that evident in the room we stayed in. Good size room but the bathroom has seen better days. It was fine for a single night but wish we had stayed somewhere quainter. Good to have parking on site. The town and castle were the highlights of the stay, we had to find somewhere for dinner as the restaurant was closed.

The hotel is in a great location in the middle of the town. Easily walkable to the castle. It has its own free parking in a lot a short walk away. (Initially we didn’t know this and found parking tricky on a busy Sunday afternoon). Our room was really spacious, with quality furnishings and a big bathroom. It was a little old fashioned, but in a charming way. Dinner on the terrace was a highlight. The food, service and atmosphere were great. It’s clearly a popular spot. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend

I've been here twice and would go back. The setting is very pretty next to the river., but I was there on business so this counted for less. Rooms are comfortable, the superior room I took once had a jacuzzi in it as well as a large amount of space. The restaurant is good with its own pizza oven, I also recommend the local beer - on the evenings when it's not open you can just walk up the road to the Voltaire. Breakfast is a buffet with a large choice, and is served early. Staff are helpful but not always at the reception, you may have to ask in the bar. Payment is made in advance on check in. Parking more difficult than it seems - limited amount of space, and it fills up quickly.

Perfectly located and cute hotel with a good restaurant. Only downside of our stay was that we were staying in the family room on the ground floor, where also the breakfast delivery was. There was a lot of noise from the hallway when the carts with breakfast were delivered. The sound of moving chairs on the floor above us (breakfast area) was very loud. The bathroom light and ventilation go on and off automatically which is great, but it takes too long for them to shut off. Especially during the night it’s annoying the light and ventilation stay on for 15min..

Ok hotel. Very hot in the rooms. Breakfast was very poor. Loads of prepacked stuff. Canned fruit salad. Destroyed boiled eggs. Stale scrambled eggs. Out of bacon. Old Danish. Bread and coffee ok. Dinner was fine. Free parking, a couple of minutes walk away.
