Beautiful grounds. Great swimming. Excellent staff. Just note there is construction currently on going. Brittney and Belkis were helpful and accommodating during the stay. the older gentleman who works on the beach providing chairs and umbrellas is the hardest working and personable staff member at Grand Roatan. This place is absolutely beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Food options are limited and there is no gym at the facility although you can pay for daily pass at the next hotel. It was nice because you can stay here for a quiet experience or walk down the beach for more of a local experience. Will definitely return.

What's nice about the Grand Roatan is that its nestled into the very end of the island next to the rock cliff. It makes you feel not ao squished on both sides of the property. This area is quite large for the island. It's also the best beach on the island with coral reef and tons of fish just feet out into the water.
