Exceeded my expectations
Wonderful hotel in an amazing neighborhood! Professional and friendly staff, cool architecture, comfortable room. Shower was roomy with the best waterfall faucet. Couldn't take advantage of the balcony as it was March and rainy, but it's large and our room had a fantastic view of the river and Manhattan. Valet parking with very reasonable 24-hour rate. We also dined at Westlight, the rooftop restaurnat...fantastic! Will be back!

Valet Parking for the win
We had been trying to find a good solution for when we drive into Brooklyn to see concerts. We tried a few different places and since parking is such a premium and nearly zero hotels have onsite parking it was so easy to use the valet and then not worry at all about our vehicle for the duration of our stay. Yes, The William Vale is more expensive and this might not be an option if you are trying to save some money but for convenience, and amenities this hotel wins in my book. I don't think we will stay anyplace else from now on.
