We had a lovely stay at the Dom Hotel. We walked to all parts of town with no trouble, and particularly loved the nearby park. It is RIGHT near the cathedral. The room is beautiful and the breakfast is fabulous. Wish we had stayed longer!

Elegant, Clean Old World Hotel
Dom Hotel in Augsburg suited our purposes perfectly for a one-night stay as part of a drive down the "Romantic Road." Modernized, high-design and quality accommodations. Very tidy and clean. We were fortunate to secure one of the few patio parking spots, which was an added plus. Hotel staff were helpful and courteous. Location is superb, very close to the cathedral (thus the name) and old city. Would certainly stay here again!

Nice hotel in a good location to the old town.
Nice hotel with small courtyard for safely parking or motorcycles. Rooms had small balcony , but needed a bit of a spruce up. Rooms were clean , not overly modern and large.Bathroom was a good size too. Good location to walk to bars and restaurants and near the aldstadt area. Wasnt able to use the pool as it was closed early morning. Breakfast was continental style. Good coffee machines. Free mini bar in the room with water amd a couple pf beers

No AC on (though advertised as available), so not great for sleeping in stuffy room, mosquitoes made opening a window not a good option for airflow. Would stay again, though a tad overpriced. Because of train delays I wasn't sure if I would arrive at the hotel before reception closed. I phoned them to check and they were very helpful and sent me a door code for after hours access. In the event I was about 10 minutes late and someone was still there and gave me a very friendly welcome, which did a lot to alleviate the misery of a stressful journey! I really enjoyed my stay, staff were friendly and efficient, breakfast buffet excellent and room spacious, comfortable and clean. The hotel is well-situated, a quick walk to the town centre and most of the sights. Would definitely recommend.
