Amazing stay
So wonderful I booked here for location I’m disabled and have stayed before so I new it had a lift unfortunately for me the lift was out of order so I struggled up the stairs to be told we had a family room witch was on the top how ever the manager sorted it all out with know fuss and gave us 2 rooms next to each other they couldn’t of done anything more to make our stay better thank you we will be back he even told us about how his mum decorated the rooms the sinks are amazing

Perfect stay in Beautiful George Street Hotel
Everything perfect, from the moment we arrived. We arrived early and it was our only day in Oxford, Sanj, the Director of the Hotel was super helpful in giving us a lot of information about places to visit, etc. he even gave us an upgrade to a beautiful suite !! The room was huge, the bathroom was also huge, it had a balcony with great views of the city, the bed was super confortable. Everything is within walking distance from the hotel. So the location is great !! Can’t wait to go back to Oxford !!

Nice, family owned hotel in the middle of town.
The hotel is smack in the middle of the city and a short walk to bot the train station and the main bus terminal. Although George street has deteriorated in the last years, the hotel is across from the theatre so it is lively and feels more or less safe. Cafe on the left. Two nice pubs on the right.

Fantastic stay in centre of Oxford
Fantastic location and very welcoming. Staff were lovely. Room was large and clean. Recommendation's are to offer a choice of pillow's as I found them way too firm but this is a personal choice. It would be great if they could find a way to offer breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

A fabulous stay
I had a wonderful time at The George Street Hotel. The location is perfectly located within walking distance to famous sites, the bathroom was 5 star, and the small refrigerator was a lovely surprise since a fridge in a hotel room is extremely rare in the UK and Europe.
