We had a relaxing 3 night stay with Carolyn. Lovely bedroom with large en-suite bathroom in a peaceful, rural location. We enjoyed the breakfasts as well as Carolyn’s home cooked evening meals, both of which gave lots of choice. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you Carolyn 🙏

Rockmoor House was a lovely place to stay - about 6 miles from Alnwick. The room was large and very comfortable. The bed was massive and really comfy. There was a wide variety of options for breakfast, which was excellent

We stayed here for two nights to attend a nearby wedding. The accommodation was lovely. Large spacious room, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Carolyn was very welcoming and went out of her way to ensure we had a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend.

Disturbed on some nights, noise and shouting from other parts of the Farmhouse!! Close to Alnwick. Also my wife was allergic to the family cat 🐈⬛

Amazing location, close to Alnwick and the beautiful Northumberland coastline. The property had beautiful large rooms, well furnished and very comfortable. Our host provided lovely breakfasts with a very good choice for all tastes. We hope to be back before too long!

A actual country house. Only 5 guest rooms. The property is just gorgeous and very well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were top notch. Breakfast was delicious. It was a true experience, highly recommend if you can get a reservation.

We'd love to come again!
A fantastic stay - we liked it so much we stayed an extra night! The breakfast was wonderful: really great selection of everything including home baked bread (still warm!), local kippers and great scrambled eggs. As well as really good tea making facilities in our room there was always great home baked cakes to have with our afternoon tea. Location also really good with really easy access to the coast and Alnwick: lots to do (and eat!)

Breakfasts were really good with excellent choice.
Bedroom was of a good size with good wardrobe & drawer space.
The lower area of shower externally was not very clean!
