Definitely more "Historic Bunkhouse" than "Motel". The rooms are VERY sparse and rustic: not much in the way of power outlets, camp beds with foamy mattresses, no tv, spotty wi-fi, no extra space or furniture (like a chair?) in the room, no hair dryer in the bathroom - just the absolute basics. Like I said, more bunkhouse than motel, but a decent place to crash for the night if you're on your way to or from Mount Rainier. Wouldn't recommend it to people who appreciate the basic comforts provided by most hotels/motels, but great for the outdoor enthusiast who just needs a place to sleep, shower, and go.
