Very good 8.0
Yurbban Passage was a very pleasant stay! The location was perfect and the amenities were exactly what I was looking for. There was only one washer and dryer for the whole hotel so you have to be patient but it is free and a rare hotel find! The laundry area was stocked with detergent pods and an iron/ironing board. Bikes are also offered and a WiFi hotspot to carry around the city. Super helpful with an international phone! The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I love the boutique trendy decor and I found the bed to be incredibly comfortable. It is not super fancy. The room is small and simple but adequate. I only had one window facing out onto an alley so no incredible view by any means. I would not go so far as to say the room was dirty but I did find some hair in the shower so I asked for it to be recleaned which the front desk said would be done right away. I did not eat in the hotel so I can’t speak for the food or the spa. The roof top pool area is beautiful with an amazing view of the city but the pool is not heated and it is very very small. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and felt like the hotel was fairly priced in a great area. I would not go running back for the room itself but the amenities beyond make up for the simplicity of the room!!

Great Boutique Hotel Near Everything
Our experience at Yurrban Passage was very positive. Although we didn't expect it the hotel was able to accommodate an early check-in (thank you Martina). The one thing to note is that the taxi drivers tend to take people to the sister hotel, Yurrban Trafalgar and the entrance to the Yurrban Passage is just up the street a few steps. It's easy to miss the entrance. Our room was fine with a comfortable king-sized bed and a hot/strong shower (my two requirements). We also found it quiet which is what we wanted. We enjoyed the roof-top terrace; it was nice to be able to sit out after a long day touring the city. The location is fabulous - a short walk to all of the main attractions without being in the middle of the noisy parts at night. We found a restaurant around the corner, Tosca, that we particularly enjoyed with amazing tapas and sangria. We didn't buy the hotel breakfast as we tend to enjoy smaller breakfasts. We found a little place on Via Laietana that makes churro that you dip in chocolate. They also have nice espresso there. We took the Runner Bean tours (pay what you want/can) - both the City Tour and the Gaudi Tour and we highly recommend both. They meet up about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is quite close to the Metro (subway) station, which we used to see the Gaudi sites (with the tour) and we shared a T10 pass for less than 10 Euro. You don't need to take expensive tours or sign up for the Barcelona 2 day pass.

Romantic stay in the heart of Barcelona
First of all, this location is prime. Easy access to the metro and within walking distance to most of the major sites. It's also easy to orientate yourself, since it is two blocks west of the Arc, and they give you a humorous map of the area. Service was top-notch. Everyone speaks perfect English and was there with every little question we had. The hotel was gorgeous. We traveled in the offseason and were upgraded for free to a deluxe room, which was extremely spacious, even by American standards. The room was very pretty, but my only complaint was the mood lighting, while romantic, made it a bit difficult to do my makeup in the morning. The terrace was beautiful, although due to the cold we didn't get to spend much time out there (the hours it is open are also a bit limited, in winter at least). The included breakfast was delicious, much better than meals we paid for at nearby restaurants. The muesli, tortilla Espanola, and pastries in particular were amazing. They also have "wine o'clock" for a hour in the early evening, where you could grab some wine and cheese to enjoy there or take to your room. We met some other traveling couples there and enjoyed some good conversation. I would absolutely stay here again in the future.

Good 6.0
We requested for a quiet room but got the worse room in the whole place. Please avoid room 201 and perhaps any 01 rooms as they are by the stairwell. The stairwell is an open one where it’s linked to the public and thus whenever people have finished their meals or just crossing through and laughing and talking - we can hear it loud and clear- esp during the weekends - this happens through till 12 ish at night and sometimes later. Walls are thin, so every time the door shuts we can hear it too. And cos the stairwell is tiled, every morning, at 6 ish 7am when people roll their luggage out to the lift pass our room we also hear that very loudly. Otherwise it’s a stylish new hotel- clean and new - cute with little gifts at night be it a peppermint foot lotion or fortune cookies or marshmallows. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer u can use for free. Free cheese at 630 pm to 730 pm from the region and some free photo thingy at the roof TOP. We didn’t manage to use any of these so not sure about how it is just that it’s provided. Just disappointing that the basic need of a good nights rest was robbed with the noise. Stayed for 4 nights.

Loved the hotel, location is perfect
First time in Barcelona, and what a way to start the week long visit.. We were greeting by fantastic hotel staff with drinks and then a tour around the hotel. This part of the hotel is new and is a 4 star premium hotel and it truly is worth the stars. The room entrance and lounge area is very cozy and comfortable, the even have a shuffleboard in the lounge, big plus for that.. The have a social hour between 6:30 and 7:30 pm witch the call wine o'clock, meaning you are mingling with other guests and tasting local wines at the same time, great idea that we used every day and ended up going out for dinner with the some of the guests, something that we normally would not do when abroad. The rooms are really comfortable, good space, good shower, good bed, pillows and comforter, and if you don't like your pillows then you can change them out for a variety of other type of pillows, great idea. There are high ceilings in the room, and if you are thirsty for a good cup of coffee then there is a Nespresso machine in your room.. The rooftop pool is fantastic, with great views overseeing Barcelona facing the ocean, and good bar and food service from the hotels restaurant. The spa is a good way to unwind and relax during the day. We loved our stay and can't wait to visit again.
