Great hotel. Staff was awesome, Nice lobby/outdoor area if the weather is right. They have a bar, we didn't get around to seeing it. The room itself was a little outdated, no mini fridge or microwave, tv was old but it worked. Overall it was great and we will be back again There was street parking a few blocks out for free, not a bad area

Beautiful compact room with a great deal (thanks, Hotels.com!) though I would note the temperature in the shower could be difficult to moderate -- was either freezing or boiling. Not sure if its a NewYork boiler thing or what, but something to keep in mind!

Has potential but needs improvement
The hotel has potential with it's decor and the bar next-door, but it is not managed well, with limited low with a limited low grade computer at the front desk, which becomes glitchy when you need a new key made. Service needs to be tightened up a little bit.

Okay for an overnight stay
The room was clean, the hotel was nice and there was a comedy show happening on the 1sr floor. Someone was blasting music into the wee hours and we heard it from our room. The elevator was out of service that same night, and we were told it would be fixed by the morning, it wasnt. So we had to walk up and the the steps multiple times. The train is right outside, so thats something to think about.

It was adequate. For the price we paid, it was OK. Very minimalistic. The mattress was not very comfy. Shower - ok. No hairdryer. However, the room was clean. The location is good - jazz club around the corner. Train station is close. Overall - good one night stay.

Awful. Paper thin walls & no security.
Nightmare. The heater was SO LOUD it literally shook the wall and hummed all night like a freight train. Kept me up to 1am. NO SECURITY at all whatsoever. Some insane person was banging on the door next to mine, fighting and SCREAMING in the hall at 2:30-3am and AGAIN at 4-4:30am. Walls paper thin so then a screaming baby woke me up at 5am. I only got to about 3 hours of sleep. Luckily second night was quieter except for the heater. This was the least restful stay I’ve ever had. Would never ever go back.
