Appreciate the Hospitality

We truly appreciated the hospitality as they pointed us to a place to eat (with warnings that the kitchen would close soon) as well as a suggestion for kayaking. Phil also patiently bore us to the kayaking place when my daughter and I got turned around. They even allowed us a shower after kayaking and after our checkout time. The best part was they bore with us as we overstayed our check-out while trying to get on a new flight when our flight was canceled. Thank you for everything.

Strongly recommend this B&B for your stay in Hahei

Nice little B&B within walking distance from restaurants and even Cathedral Cove. Great breakfast and a nice bed. Good guidance from the host couple about things to do in the area. Don’t miss Cathedral Cove but be there early in the morning as it gets busy. Hot Water Beach is also an interesting experience

Great stay at Hahei Beach

It was a lovely house with a beautiful and well maintained backyard. Good location for hiking to see Cathedral Cove at sunrise and checking out the Hot Water Beach in the afternoon. My husband and I also really enjoyed the family style breakfast.

Ce B&B est parfait: de la décoration à l’accueil et la gentillesse des hôtes. Très beau cadre, et bien équipé (frigo dans la chambre). La piscine est super également. Et le meilleur reste le petit déjeuner délicieux !! Je recommande même si le prix est assez élevé mais tout y est. Nous sommes très heureux d’avoir dormi dans ce B&B pour notre lune de miel.

Phil and Sue were amazing hosts. Nothing is to much trouble. They were on hand to advise where to go and what to see. They made my wife's birthday a really special occasion going beyond all expectations. The room was sparkling clean and even had a fridge which was useful. The property is just a few minutes walk from the beach and restaurants.

Amazing stay!

Phil and Sue made our stay in Hahei incredible! They offered to drive us to and from the Cathedral Cove car park and even provided us shovels for the Hot Water Beach. They went out of their way to cater to our every need, even waking up at 6:30 to make us an early morning breakfast. We really enjoyed talking to them over wine too! We would recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Hahei!

Our room was very spacious, bright and airy! It is a great location especially to be able to walk to the most beautiful beach we have ever seen. Phil and Sue, or hosts, were extremely hospitable, always checking if we needed anything, very helpful with advice on the area attractions, offered us a ride to the start of the Cathedral cove walk and made us feel so welcome. They served us the best breakfasts every morning and we especially loved their morning starter smoothie. We would highly recommend staying at the Hahei B & B to anyone traveling to Hahei.

Perfect stay!

This was absolutely the best B and B that we have ever stayed at!!! Of course the setting is gorgeous, but it is the service provided by Sue and Phil that make it stand out. They go out of their to make you welcome. They drove us up to Cathedral Cove so we could hike down. They provided shovels for us for Hot Water Beach. The breakfasts were delicious with lots of fresh fruit. A perfect place when visiting the Coromondel Peninsula

My husband and I did a 2 and a half weeks long road trip recently in New Zealand, and this was by far our favorite place we stayed at. Sue and Phil, the B&B owners were unbelievably kind and so accommodating. Our room was large, spotless, and had a personal patio with a great view. We were able to walk to Cathedral Cove as well as some restaurants. We wish we could have stayed here more than one night!

Perfect Little B and B in Hahei

This quaint little B and B has four rooms, immaculate garden and yard and even a pool. Which looks nice but I didn’t try during my stay in the off season since it was a little rainy. Stayed in the Hibiscus room which was spacious, cozy and had a great view of the gardens and the bay off in the distance. The B and B is on the edge of town but this is not an issue since this town is tiny and you can still walk to the beach. The is a perfect spot to see Cathedral Cove or go to Hot Water Beach, both are amazing sites to see and experience. Breakfast was excellent and hit the spot after our sunrise hike out to Cathedral Cove. The new owners, Phil and Sue, are the nicest most welcoming people I’ve meet so far in New Zealand, which is a pretty high bar to meet.

Très beau B&B

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par le propriétaire du B&B (Robin) et le contact a été très agréable. Robin nous a fourni plusieurs informations utiles concernant les activités à faire, les restaurants et de bons conseils pour la route de retour. Le B&B est très bien aménagé et la chambre était spacieuse et confortable, avec une belle vue. Le petit déjeuner a été ajusté pour offrir des rôties sans gluten.
