stay somewhere else
future guests should be aware that this not a good place to stay.turns out there are much better choices in the area .you check in at the bar, and we were given a room that had not been made up. our room was small had a loud a/c unit ,aloud fan in the bathroom.the shower was good, but a very long wait for hot water.lots of loud partiers- pot smoking.basically the ambience of a flop house.stay somewhere else.

2/10 Poor

I took many pictures of this property as no one should stay in these conditions. The ceiling tiles were either missing or completely water stained. Big sections of wallpaper weee ripped off. The beds weee so broken you had to hold onto side by wall to keep from rolling off bed. My sister cut her toe open walking on the carpet. The shower was so disgusting we would not use it. The hallways and common areas had not been vacuumed in days and ceiling times were missing and completely water damaged.

Bed bugs
I seem to have been bitten to hell and back and that's no surprise after staying here. Everything looks worn and dated, the window dirty and the shower took forever to warm up. Would not recommend.

Happy Hotel
The room was quite nice, clean and comfortable. The sports bar and grill downstairs was convenient and the food was good.

6/10 Good

Hotel with an in house restaurant.
We had to stay in an area which doesn't many places for dinner. The hotel has a well rated sports bar (deservedly so) so we tried the hotel. It is in and old building over the restaurant with an excellent king bed and an otherwise functional refrigerator and TV. Surprisingly there was no noise from the sports bar and the price was right. There was not an elevator and it was a long walk up 3 flights of stairs with luggage.

2/10 Poor

awfull
This place gets some good reviews; this is due to the nice sports bar it owns. The hotel upstairs is just awful. I try to be positive in all my reviews but this was just plain bad. We arrived on a Sunday night and the place was closed even though we had a reservation. No way to reach anyone. We went to a pizza place nearby and by a stroke of luck there was someone there (a customer) who knew someone who knew someone who was dating a guy that worked there and she called him for us. He showed up to let us in (no discount, which would have been a nice touch). The room was filthy: hadn't been dusted in weeks; there were hairs in the bed, orange smudges on the pillow and towels; there were traces of pizza/pasta sauce on the side of he bed and the floor, which clearly nobody had even tried to clean up.It was also very hot in the room, though the ac unit did work luckily. The wallpaper was missing in some places and with the carpet looked like it had been there since the 50s. The radiator had smudges all over it and was falling apart. The shower was surprisingly clean. The rest was just a dirty dusty musky smelling dump that is barely worth half the price we paid.
