9 Jul 2026Very weird vibe, internet worked only in the common areas not in the rooms, so all the men were out making phone calls till late at night, which was obviously disturbing, given the poor isolation. Loud doors, including the bathroom, the place is a proper 2* , barely good for a night over with an early departure.

Otherwise it reminded me of backpacking through Africa and Asia in the mid-seventies.
Mahebourg is good for its proximaty to the airport.

15 Nov 2022The owner is greedy for money , no cleaning for 3 days I stay, bed was dirty , bed shirt had blood , , I ask for water, , he told me there are a a place in the airport, why I didn’t drink water or anything before I come , no one allowed to come to meet me ,he changed me 500 rupees because someone came to deliver water in my room ,

2 Jun 2026Wir haben das Coco Villa in Mahébourg vom 26.05. bis 27.05. besucht und das Hotel hauptsächlich wegen der Nähe zum Flughafen für eine Nacht gebucht.
Das Hotel ist insgesamt schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Unser Zimmer war jedoch sauber und sehr einfach eingerichtet. Eine Klimaanlage war vorhanden und besonders schön war der direkte Meerblick inklusive Balkon.
Auch das Badezimmer war eher schlicht, aber sauber. Das Duschen war allerdings ein kleines Abenteuer, da das Wasser entweder sehr heiß oder sehr kalt war.
Der Service war insgesamt in Ordnung – weder besonders herzlich noch unfreundlich. Positiv hervorzuheben ist der angebotene Late Check-out. Wir konnten unser Zimmer gegen 1000 Rupien bis 16:30 Uhr behalten, was für unseren Abreisetag sehr praktisch war. Soweit wir verstanden haben, scheint die Uhrzeit dabei auch etwas verhandelbar zu sein.
Das WLAN war im Zimmer selbst leider nicht besonders gut, außerhalb des Zimmers beziehungsweise in den allgemeinen Bereichen jedoch deutlich besser.
Zum Frühstück können wir nichts sagen, da wir nichts gegessen haben.
Für eine Nacht vor dem Rückflug ist das Hotel vollkommen ausreichend. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt würden wir es persönlich allerdings nicht buchen.

When we left early next day they didn’t pack any breakfast for us just gave us yogurt and juice and the room decor was pretty old , when we entered the washroom there was some strong smell of cleaning fluid

Alles wird gepflegt und ist sauber, jedoch schon in die Jahre gekommen.
Das Frühstück mit Baguette, Joghurt, Saft und Kaffee/Tee ist übersichtlich.
Mahebourg als Ort bietet jedoch wenig bis gar nichts und eignet sich nur als Übernachtung vor oder nach dem Flug.
