Camino Real Fashion Drive is a newer hotel and is conveniently connected to a shopping mall. Excelent stay, rooms are very clean and staff is very friendly. I did get my room upgraded to a JR Suite with a formidable view.

Everything was very good, the only issue we had parkinf lot. Once we parking we had 15 guys forcing us to wash the car. They kept hassiling us. Then when i said no , they started to be rude and just anoying.

Everyone was very helpful on getting around giving instructions, never been to Monterey great staff. Some guy took time out of his to show me my room and how it work. Never been at a hotel. Would stay there again if a trip come up. Went for u.s consulate

Hotel is gorgeous but will regret to stay here. Amenities, facilities and rooms are certainly great, however hotel don't have their own parking and share with the largest and most visited shopping mall in the city, due this find a parking spot middle of the day (around 1PM - 7PM) is basically impossible, I spent solid 45 min at least (lost the sense of reality in some point) looking for a parking spot, I wanted to leave but couldn't pay my ticket (paid parking) and parking staff is basically useless, so I was basically trapped. Hotel is great, but not place worth to spend an hour looking for a parking.
