Perfect and cost effective stay! 5*

Fantastic stop for working in the north, enjoyed my stay thoroughly and the staff were so lovely. Fantastic whisky bar I made full use of on my stay. Wish I’d made use of the breakfast and dinner while I was there as it looked and smelled amazing. Would return here in future 100%

Very quaint hotel. The staff were amazing. Loved the wee pub, choices of scotch whiskey, and the food. The village of Rothes made for easy access to distilleries and enjoying the area. I would stay again.

My family and I had a wonderful stay! A lot nicer than Dufftown. Hotel has clean and the staff were excellent! We had dinner the night we arrived and breakfast the next morning, both were delicious! Will definitely be back and stay again but for longer time. Just a quaint little Scottish town to get loss in

This was a single night visit to the area. Room was neat and well appointed meeting my requirements. Regrettably unavoidable traffic noise detracted from overall positive experience

Wasn't sure what to expect. I came for the Spirit of Speyside whisky festival as a late booking. Straight from checking in, Rob let me in early and made my stay comfortable and hassle free. He took y vegeteruan options in consideration in preparing breakfast. The bus stop is literally across the street. I would definitely stay here again

Friendly place. Clean. Lots of stairs though. I was passing through but you could easily stay here for 2/3 days as a base for exploring locally.

Loved the excellent staff and owner who accommodated us last minute and ensured we had a comfortable stay. Bathroom sealant in shower needs attention due to appearance, but other than that brilliant. Thank you

6/10 Good

Hotel is on busy noisy road. We had a large quiet room at the back of the courtyard so noise wasnt a problem. Hotel doesnt have parking but on-street parking is free. Really friendly and helpful staff. Bar has excellent range of whiskys and there are distilleries giving tours within walking distance from the hotel. Its a basic hotel that's good value for money

Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. A quaint place with interesting layouts of the property. Downside was our room was very close to the highway and was noisy till about 10 pm and started again early in the morning. Also they need darkening curtains as the street light was shining bright into the .

4/10 Fair

Overpriced for the quality of the rooms, almost as expensive as the high-end Station hotel nearby for a hostel-style room here. Breakfast wasn’t included which was surprising. Didn’t expect to have to share a single communal toilet and shower with the other guests on the same floor. Towels provided were very small, especially considering the toilet and shower room is down the hall. Hotel was clean and reception staff were helpful with unusual check-in.

A taste of Rothes

Quaint. Close to everything. We choose for proximity and cost. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was unseasonably warm so our room was quite warm. We could open windows for some cross ventilation, which helped. There is a reason, though, that there are complementary earplugs on the bedside tables. They have an incredible whiskey selection from the Speyside area and folks there were very friendly and hospitable.
