"Stunning hotel with fabulous views of the Eiger from our room. Staff were very friendly and professional, and the food and breakfast were exception. Plenty of choice at the breakfast bar. Very central and the spa and outdoor heated jacuzzi was fantastic, with incredible views of the mountains. Highly recommend and we hope to come again soon"

"Very helpful staff and amazing breakfast and most importantly location was very good"

"Amazing place, ambience and views."

"Views from our 4th floor room with balcony facing the mountains were breathtaking & the red geranium in the decks flower box added wonderful color. The pool and hot tub were exceptional and breakfast had many selections & a nice seating area. The automated check-in and checkout process made everything easy. Wengen was a central, gorgeous place to stay. I'd highly recommend this property!"

"Great hotel. Pretty view."

"Had a great balcony room with a view of Eiger. Staff service was superb, welcoming and very helpful to plan our time there. Great breakfast and Barry’s Restaurant was also excellent - service and food."

"This is really a 5-stars hotel. The vibe is classic and elegant. Room has a balcony with a crazily stunning view of the Eiger and the dreamy slope. The location is unbeatable. It is just one minute walking distance beside the Grindelwald train station. This is a good base for me to visit all around the Jungfrau region."

"Excellent breakfast, super kind and helpful staff."

"We loved our stay! The staff were so friendly and helpful and the location was perfect! "

"Nice cozy hotel, staff was super nice and helpful. Spa area is also really nice. Enjoyed the stay. Will return again for a weekend trip"

"Stayed there for a week and really enjoyed our stay. It was a very homey feel and a great experience for the price. The hotel breakfast every morning ran from 7:30am to 9:30am and had some really good coffee every morning which was really convenient."

"It was close to the train station. It also had a good breakfast that was included, and the staff were all super helpful."

"Nice stay , very peaceful. Nice start"

"Great place, great location. Super comfy"

"Restaurant was reasonably priced and good. System was well-organized; staff was friendly; and there is a playground next door. I did not have a chance to try the breakfast since needing to leave early. The beds were rather firm. And the bathroom door gives a truly cultural experience to family-style (clear on bottom and does not completely separate the rooms but is sufficient). Otherwise, it is perfect and would be 5 stars."

"Fantastic hotel with very helpful staff! Right in the heart of the shops and other restaurants. Easy access to train and bus. Fondue Krebs was the best of the 4 fondue’s we had on our trip! Fantastic breakfast with made to order eggs (fill out a sheet) Also, the bartender provided us ice for our room. Hotel has a vintage romance feel to it. Was a great place to stay and easy train access to Grindlewald and Lauterbrennen. Boat ride on the lake also recommended!"

"Hotel staff was friendly & helpful!! Perfect location!"
