"Great location. Can easily walk to restaurants on union, Lombard st, fisherman’s warf etc. pull out couch and coin laundry were great to have for our family road trip. The best was free parking! Nearly impossible to find in San Fran."

"Favorite part about this hotel is the location! Tiburon seemed to be a very calm and safe area. Walking distance to the ferry into the city, or 30ish min drive over the golden gate."

"Parking was a bit of an issue, but manageable. Staff was excellent, both at the front desk and throughout the hotel. Don't miss the outdoor garden with the heated seats/bench, a lovely spot. The proximity to so many of the things which make SF special was amazing. Shopping, eats, bars (The Page and Gigis both stand out), Golden Gate Park, the fun SF vibe all made the trip and stay memorable. We'll be back to stay at the Metro! "

"Yes it was in good condition maybe a bit dated but i think this is the motel vintage style. Staff was great and helpful. For the price in that popular area I really can not complain. Walking distance to golden bridge and palace of fine art. "

"I love the early 1900 structure of the building. And the 60s retro mod that they did for updating the rooms. I felt like the hotel was in a good location whether you were doing fisherman’s wharf or the San Francisco Bridge or court tower. I would stay there again and probably will!"

"Clean and spacious room—we stayed in a Queen Room with Bay Windows. The bathroom was large with great water pressure, and the location is excellent. Definitely a great place to stay again when we return to San Francisco. "
