Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights whilst visiting Machu Picchu. The hotel is up the hill from the railway station but worth the view when you get there. I was given a room on the 5th floor, the only floor with balconies and the view of the town and mountains around is great. The room was spacious with. Maylin was the standout member of a superb team of staff at the hotel. Everyone was so helpful and super friendly. The room was clean but a little worn in places, nothing to complain about. River view room is awesome but, with the river in full flow, it’s loud, didn’t stop us from sleeping though. Breakfast was good, decent selection and a cooked to order omelette was excellent. Easy walk from the train station and close to the bus stop for Machu Picchu. Would I go again, definitely

Clean room and it was very spacious, the staff went above and beyond. The toilet was overflowing and staff came and sorted it asap and clean everything up. Had to check out very early to go up to Machu Picchu, they left me a breakfast bag at he front desk to take with me. Note: the front desk isn’t 24hrs but they will try and accommodate your needs. I was told beforehand that this hotel was all about the location, and not to expect the usual luxuries for the (considerable) cost, and I wasn't disappointed.
