. Excellent chef! Unfortunately there was an issue with the plumbing and our toilet flooded twice. The hotel asks you to put your used toilet paper in the garbage -while gross this apparently is standard in Brazil. We did that the whole time yet it still flooded. Which was gross. The hotel was really good about it and moved us to another room but it was a major inconvenience. "

That being said, I didn’t have too much trouble communicating. The view from the balcony is amazing and a 12/10. The hotel definitely seemed older than they let on with the pictures but otherwise a clean bed and towels. My issue is that the air conditioner did not work and two of the three lights in the room did not function. Difficult to shower...

Camburi village is a typical of the area; rustic, weather-beaten, but welcoming enough. You should have some basic knowledge of portuguese though to get by.

"Lugar lindo! Vista é maravilhosa! Café da manhã simples mas tudo muito gostoso! Atendimento com muita educação! Só um porém é que é muuuuuito longe do centro e longe das praias. A praia mais próxima é uns 20 minutos de carro! Além disso poderia ter algum entretenimento como bilhar, etc. Mas sobre a pousada tudo limpo e lindo! "
