Public buses and taxi's made for easy transportation. The Moovit app for public buses was a blessing. Put in your destination and the app gave you step by step. You'll need to get a cell plan which was very inexpensive. For taxi's Yandex Go was great

Taxis/Uber/Bolt provide almost no service. The only way to get a ride is to persuade a local to call one - hotel front desk, restaurant, the business you're visiting. There's something weird going on here, a major European city with no taxis.

The people are very friendly and helpful, almost everyone speaks English in a sufficient level to understand them. A visit of 3 days is supposed to cover all main attractions, most people can come for a week and take one-two day tours to other cities

Belgrade is very lovely and charming, but feels a bit rough around the edges because of general lack of foreign investments. It feels like Russia in mid 1990s. Also, everybody smokes indoors!

Surprisingly thriving and has lots of new development. Lots of things to do. From the Balkans, this is the most developed city.
"The management at this property was extremely professional and kind in resolving a travel matter I had that was not even their fault. I would absolutely stay at this property if I am ever back in Belgrade."
"I’ve been staying in modern boutique hotels, but staying in an Art Nouveau masterpiece from 1908 was exciting to me. Our room was very traditional, but very large. It was nearly the size of a junior suite and had a large sitting area with a sofa and two chairs, I was impressed
The hotel is conveniently located to the area with restaurants and cocktail bars as well as historic buildings and the shopping boulevard
We didn’t opt for the breakfast, but had breakfast in the hotel restaurant anyway. Big portion of delicious avocado toast for about $8
The front desk staff was great !
I would stay there again
"
"I stayed in this hotel on the 4th floor, the room was quiet and big. It was surprisingly quiet as compared to my previous stay last year. At the time I was on the first floor and I could hear the sounds from outside but this time being on the 4th floor was different. Bed is comfortable and rooms are new and clean. "
