Missoula is applauded for its festivals and live music with such cultural attractions as Wilma Theatre and Missoula Art Museum. The city has something for everyone including its natural beauty, breweries, and sights like Missoula County Courthouse and Clark Fork River.
Missoula is considered a pretty big town for this area and is home to the University of Montana, has a great downtown along the Clark Fork river with plenty of restaurants, cute little shops and gallery's. Try 1889 for a nice dinner out.

We loved the small town and small community vibe. We used mostly uber to get around from the hotel to downtown. But being around downtown, we were able to walk everywhere. Bus line is free and easy to use. Highly recommend

Missoula is probably the best town to visit in Montana. More culture and diversity than anywhere else in the state.

It's one of the largest cities in Montana, so lots of stores and places to eat without needing to use interchange roads. There were probably plenty of things to do in town, but we got there, shopped at Winco, ate, then stayed in our room.

City appears to be getting more trendy everytime I'm there. Fair/rodeo was happening which was fun. Downtown weekend market was also good to see people enjoying parks and riverfront. Seems to have a good vibe.
"The ability to do laundry on site was great. Our microwave quit working and they delivered a new one the next day. Great bed and good shower - facility needs a bit of updating, but all in all it was a great hotel stay."
"The front desk staff was super helpful when we had questions about where to find a certain store. The store was closed but they tried hard to find other options for us.
The room was great--really nicely done. The bed was super comfortable.
The one thing that could be better is the "store". If the hotel isn't going to offer even a bagel bar, could you make the prices on the breakfast items in the store more reasonable? I mean $2 for a chewy granola stick from Nature Valley? Come on!

Days Inn and Suites by Wyndham Downtown Missoula-University

"Good location - 10 min walk from Higgins or UMT. There is a railway just beside with train horns going off at all hours though - the hotel provides free earplugs. It didn't wake me up personally. Friendly staff, renovated rooms with just a few missing touches. Hot breakfast with eggs, potatoes and sausage included which was nice"
