"We booked this hotel for one night with breakfast included. The hotel overlooks Sigiriya Rock and is in a very nice location. Breakfast started at 7am and after eating we left for Sigiriya Rock at 8am. As it was a weekday, we were able to get to the top while it was still relatively empty. By the time we got off the summit, there were quite a few more people, so we were glad we left early. If you can afford it, you might be able to climb before breakfast. "Beautiful hotel, lovely room, excellent swimming pool, and some of the best Sri Lankan food I could expect in the buffet breakfast and dinner. Plus very friendly staff that even remembered me. That special touch. "

"We had three nights here. The temperature during the day was very hot and humid, as were the nights. Hibiscus villa has air conditioning and a fridge, which helped to make our stay comfortable. Service is very helpful. We needed a car and driver and this was arranged for us at short notice. Better to give a few days notice. Breakfast on the patio, surrounded by fruit trees and other plants was nice. Room is basic, but comfortable. If you choose to stay here you will be well looked after. "

"Great staff which prevented me from giving one star. No wifi input rooms, no television channels except for one, swimming pool was out of order and lost goes on. Problem is not withthe staff - it is the owners of the hotel. Avoid LSR group hotels! There are better places to spend your money "
