    The pool/spa opens at 11am closes at 7pm. So in effect if you are travelling on business it doesn’t exist. It'll be closed when you check in & check out. Think that should be made clear to bookers

    We had a lovely stay, although our room wasn’t very clean! Rose petals and candle wax on the floor. Bed was comfy. Slept lovely The pool was dirty Wasn’t many channels on the tv But Overall fantastic stay

    Standards have dropped.

    Stayed here several times now and the attention to detail has definitely declined over the years. Bar service not as good as previous stays also lacking in basics such as Pinot gricio wine. Staff lacking in finesse. Breakfast service- no cook to order menu and was not told we could of ordered pancakes, waffles or omelette. We should have been offered this not expected to guess. Room great and clean. Front desk staff polite and welcoming.

    Our was good apart from the emergency torch did not actually had a note saying it didn’t work! Bath robes we’re missing and it took 3 phone calls and nearly two and half hours before they arrived! Both the room service meal and both breakfasts we had were very good.

    Three night stay on a business trip

    I stayed there for three nights. Check in took more than half an hour since only one executive at reception to handle all check in and check outs, surprising but true. Pool opens at 11 AM and closes at 7 PM, but wired but true. Staff is not very friendly. Nobody picks up call for housekeeping. Overall it was not a 4 star experience.

    Lovely central hotel

    Beautiful hotel, central location to restaurants and parking within 5 mins walk. Breakfast the next morning was delicious with lots of hot and cold options. My only complaint was our bathroom. It was in need of repair and a decent clean. There were lots of black dirt in the bath/ shower which was easily cleanable which was disappointing given the price of our room.
