Reservation means nothing!
I was a little disappointed in Sheraton LA. I was staying here with several others for a work event. Three weeks prior to our stay we had 4 rooms reserved (and paid), all rooms with two queen beds. When we checked in we were given our rooms and thought all was good. Five minutes later 2 of us were back downstairs because we only had single beds. The man at the desk said they were sold out of rooms with 2 beds. I explained that I reserved and paid for these rooms 3 weeks ago. He said that the reservation only guarantees a room not the type of room. Not only was I irritated that I only had single beds in two of the rooms but the fact that he did not mention anything when we checked in. The hotel did nothing to make good on this issue and the entire interaction with this front desk person was a bad experience. Overall he was rude and not professional.
