We were very impressed with the Academy hotel! The staff was friendly the beds were comfortable, their rooms were very clean. But most of all the rooms are very quiet! We loved the blackout drapes and the maid to order omelettes in the morning. We will definitely book with the Academy Hotel again!

Not very impressed
Well the blind behind the shear curtain was torn and unsightly. The carpet had stains on it. The bathroom shower curtain was torn at the top. The bathroom floor was not clean. The TV would not work on several channels. The tub in the shower was very slippery and I had to ask for a mat since there wasn't one in the room. We were in Building T and the person at the front counter said to drive around the building and park there because there was a door closer to the elevator. I did that but the door was not working so I had to walk around the building to get in and let them know the door did not work. They said they would let maintenance know but it was still not working the next day. All the staff at the hotel were very nice but they need to do some work on the rooms.
