Pros: the hotel has a lot of restaurant and food options.
Cons: at check-in, the staff who was helping us at first, and had our passports realized that we were supposed to be “VIP checking-in” (?) and told us to go to a different desk, without returning our passports. We refused. Later, once payment had been processed, they introduced us to a third person, who started showing us the facilities and told us to leave our luggage unattended to go see the places they wanted to show us. We refused again.
The next day, they had set up a meeting with the same person, so we could learn about the benefits the company could provide us. We had 3 days in town and they wanted us to spend at least 1h learning about things we didn’t care about. We left before they started the presentation.
Even though the resort is some sort of a beach club, with pools everywhere and the beach, my husband was kicked out of the buffet and the coffee station for not wearing a t-shirt, since it’s such absurd having your shoulders for other people to see.
