Hotel reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. Hotel and room were exceptionally clean and modern. Lovely room size, not too small. Only thing was the shower was in a strange position, when we turned it to use it, it sprayed all out of the bath! It was positioned in the corner rather than directly above the bath taps. Plenty of towels, changed daily, toiletries in the bathroom. Be careful that the ‘extras’ in the room are chargeable! Great hotel though and would definitely go back.

Hotel service was excellent - from free pickup and shuttle service at the airport to early room check-in at 10 am and daily fresh fruit plates. And, the location of the hotel was most convenient to lots of tourist attractions.

Location location location
If you want a dog friendly hotel smack in the middle of town, with great beds, a pillow menu, wonderful staff, Nespresso machine and fluffy towels this is it. Can't beat the Royal. The only downside for us, the gym is very small. But they do have a swimming pool and sauna.

The hotel was great. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The adea is amazing. Free transportation and local to the town. Parking is hard to find but we were able to just leave it at the hotel

Best hotel close to the downtown area. Everything is great, just needs a few modern amenities. No USB ports, slow internet, classic room furniture. Would stay again.

We arrived in LUX during a heatwave and our original hotel was older with no AC -- luckily within a few blocks was Le Royal, and they had 2 rooms left! The hotel is beautiful, clean, and the staff is too notch. Highly recommended.

Exceptional property. Very thoughtful attention in the rooms including chocolates on the night stand every night. the housekeeping was also exceptional. Bottles of water was replaced every night. Excellent location. The concierge was very helpful for securing a reservation. Only slight quibble is that they said they were unable to drop us to the airport on Sunday when we were leaving, but their website their was complimentary drop-off to the airport.
Overall, this was truly an exceptional hotel where attention is given to guests needs from the staff members and management. It was a perfect hotel to end my trip in Europe and I would certainly rebook this hotel should I visit Luxembourg.

Le Royal was fabulous. Check in was smooth and we were able to access our room on arrival despite it being before midday. The room
was spotlessly clean and there was a nightly turndown service which was superb. The concierge was exceptional, giving lots of ideas of things to do and how to get there.The location was excellent, everything a short stroll from shopping to dining to transport. We were comparing staying at Hotel Cravat but are so glad we paid the extra money and stayed here, there's no comparison. We would absolutely recommend from the comfortable beds to the fabulous bar, and added bonus of the spa where we enjoyed an early evening swim most nights. Super service all round, thank-you!

Best in Luxembourg - location, value, service
On Hotels.com, I chose a room that was advertised to fit 3 people. When I arrived, they stated it only fit two people. I also requested on Hotels.com to pre-pay for breakfast. When I arrived they said that’s not an option on Expedia - I guess it shows up on Expedia and not Hotels.com. Luckily, the hotel was amazing and gave us a third bed, which fit nicely in the room - they waived the $100 charge for the extra bed. The lounge space downstairs came in handy, as we relaxed downstairs and played Uno (they had free family games) with a new friend we met on a walking tour. The location was great - walkable to everything - shops and restaurants and tourist attractions. The restaurant was very good. It’s not a trendy, hip hotel- but that doesn’t seem to exist at all in Luxembourg. But it was excellent and I would stay there again.
