Honestly wish I could’ve stayed here for longer. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Highly recommend. I hated having to travel to St Louis, but I loved this hotel and it made my trip bearable.

The hotel was really amazing. However, we didn’t check in until 9 p.m. and the gal at the desk appeared to be impaired,and we had to get another card to enter the room and she accompanied us to the room barefoot.

The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. The shower was relaxing. When I made my original booking it was a holiday inn with breakfast. But it had changed hands back in August. The staff was still kind enough to honor that breakfast.

The visit worked well for our needs but I do think we would stay again. We did not find the bed and pillows very comfortable. There was no breakfast provided so we decided to skip the selection.
The rooms were clean and the staff was very good. The bar manager, Cooper was exceptional as were the other bartenders. The young woman at the checkout was friendly and helpful.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were having computer problems when we checked in and they kept apologizing for our wait. We understood it wasn't their fault. This was our first stay here and we weren't disappointed! Our room was neat, very clean, and the perfect temperature. The hotel doesn't provide breakfast but there is a coffee shop on site with breakfast options. My daughter-in-law had the chorizo burrito and I had a pumpkin scone. They were both delicious and the barrista was very nice. There is secure parking and it was close to the hospital where I had an appointment. I have a couple more future appointments there and I will be booking a room here again for sure! Highly recommend!

Good stay
Check in was great until the trainee walked in and the entire place suddenly smelled of weed. The clerk was visibly annoyed and the trainee seemed to think it was funny.
The room was exceptional, comfortable, very clean with a great shower. Parking is inside and out.
The only complaint was the bar was already closed at 9 pm on a Saturday night.

Great property
When we pulled in the sign said “Hotel Indigo”. This was disconcerting since I had made reservations at a Holiday Inn Express. I also stayed at the same property in April when it was a Holiday Inn Express. It’s still an IHG property..
We appreciate the history of this hotel and it’s nice that the renovations celebrate this.. it’s on the National Register of Historic Places as the first motel on Route 66 in St Louis.

St Louis itself is really nice and the hotel was pretty…..but we found a lot of human hair in our bed. It was obvious someone had slept in it, the sheets weren’t changed. It was like they just pulled the corners and made sure it looked presentable.
