Good hotel, central location
Our room was clean and well appointed, but it was small, which was not unexpected. Comfortable bed and a good size bathroom with a nice shower. The elevator is fine but tiny, enough room for 4 friendly folks or 2 with a suitcase each. The hotel uses sensors to turn hallway and stair lights on/off. However, when walking up the stairs the lights in certain areas do not turn on until you have taken a few stairs in the dark. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our view was into other walls but no one could see in to our room. 2 windows in the bath and the one in our bedroom all opened and in the morning we could smell the local bakeries.
The hotel is in a nice central location and we were able to walk to Noter Dame, the Louve and the Eifel Tower. It’s a long walk, but hey, it’s Paris. A nice hotel and I would stay there again.

The hotel was great. The decor was really lovely and the receptionists were friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned daily (optional) with fresh bedding and towels etc. The area was brilliant, felt very safe and a few minutes walk from great restaurants and cafes.

Although we chose a Comfort room with two separate beds, we were given a standard room with one king bed. It was a bit difficult since we were staying with our baby. It was very difficult to communicate with the woman at the reception, she did not seem to want to listen. The hotel's elevator was very narrow, and we had a hard time reaching our room with a baby stroller because the floors in front of the elevators were full of stuff.

We loved the location of the hotel. Chemene, at the front desk, made our stay very pleasant. It was the simple things she did during our stay that would make us want to come back to Royal Saint Germain. She was very attentive to our needs and called me by my name every time she saw us.

The hotel is located in a great area. There’s tons of shops and restaurants/cafes around. There is easy access to the bus and the metro. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was small but pretty and clean. The breakfast was delicious. It had everything you could think of. Worth it! Will definitely stay again.

Great
We had a great stay in Hotel Royal Saint Germain. It’s been recently refurbished to a high standard and is in a great location near the metro but also walking distance from the centre (about 30mins to Notre Dame). We had a room facing the internal courtyard which was very dark (and not a great view) and the room would have benefitted from extra lighting as it was hard to do make up given the room was so dark. The soundproofing is also not great so make sure you bring earplugs!

Everything was great until they started having issues with their fire alarms. The alarms woke us up at 3:40am and we all had to go outside. We ended up checking out that same morning. They only charged us for the taxes. This happened 2 days un a row. All the guests were very upset.

Did not like the shuttle service (that only are offered FROM the hotel) they quoted 69 euro, the normal fixed price should be 59 or 62. The driver charged 74 ! And for 1.30 hon the phone a lot. Book a taxi anywhere else. ours drive without aircondition, and he was

Easy to find and 2 minutes from Metro station. It’s located on a main road which is not too busy which I preferred to a side street. I felt very safe in this area. Lots of restaurants, a pharmacy, Monoprix about 5-6 minutes walk and a major train station. Our room overlooked the main road, which was good. The room was bigger than expected. Had heard hotel rooms in Paris can be quite small, our room wasn’t and easy to move around at ease. The bathroom was roomy, overall impressed.
I had paid extra for breakfast and knew what to expect from website. It was as expected and enjoyable.
My only criticisms are, the reception is just a desk at the bottom of the stairs which was unusual. And the lobby area became crowded when guests were checking in. Also, I wasn’t able to use the safe in the bedroom as no one was able to reset it, not even with a key - disappointing. Also, after we checked out and came back for our luggage late afternoon, there was no one on reception. Guests waiting in the lobby had to let us in to collect our luggage. I thought we could have been anyone and stolen someone’s luggage. I was concerned that my luggage although in an unlocked cupboard could have been stolen by anyone. My third and last criticism is the bedside table. They were cute, small and round. Not practical at all. You couldn’t put much in them. Please upgrade for something bigger or at least square or rectangular.
Would I return to this hotel, definitely. I enjoyed my stay there.

O melhor do hotel é a localização. Perfeita. O hotel foi todo reformado, banheiros novos. Tem elevador , pequeno , problema de malas resolvido. Café da manhã , normal, com tudo do desjejum europeu. Quartos pequenos como o normal em Paris. Arrumação e troca de toalhas só se vc pedir , politica de sustentabilidade. A França está assim em muitas cidades.
