Junior suite a waste of extra cost
I booked an executive room for 2 nights and decided as a treat to upgrade to a Junior suite. Well to be perfectly honest I’ve no idea what the extra €30 a night was for? There were 2 mini Prosecco and a box with 4 sweets, on one night only? Was that really what I paid €60 for? We had booked a spa and therefore obtained slippers and luxury robes that fitted! There wasn’t even a desk in the room. The coffee machine had 2 coffee capsules the first night but only 1 creamer to accompany the coffee for the machine. The second night I had to phone for coffee capsules to be replenished and they brought ‘budget brand Lidl’ cappuccino with no accompanying creamer just uht milk! The website refers to Field Day Toiletry range of toiletries provided and there was ‘Hand Wash’ only for the sink, the bath and the shower - not body wash, shampoo or conditioner, not to mention Body lotion that most standard hotels provide and The Osprey Hotel boasts a so called ‘Luxury 4 Star’ as advertised. Luckily we were able to purchase shampoo in the local store. The TV control had no cover on the battery compartment and they kept falling out. The lighting in the room was dreadful, at one stage we had to use the torch on our mobile phone to look for something in our suitcase 🙄 So overall unfortunately not what I believe anyone would expect from a 4 star Hotel!

Great facilities but pity about wear and tear
Great facilities and huge family room for a reasonable price but the heating didn't work properly so it was freezing and it needed a paint job and new carpet badly

Very disappointed
Pictures looked nothing like the website…
Dark, need of a good paint…
However manger was very pleasant and offered us a free breakfast as a gesture of good will…
Would have preferred a nice room though…

Nice enough but better value to be had in Naas
Nice hotel but not worth the price. Room was quiet spacious but not particularly nice. Only meal we had on site was the buffet breakfast and though we did go on the later side, they ran out of smoothies while we were grabbing our food.
I would not choose to go back to this hotel if staying in Naas again

Nice hotel for an overnight stay. Good buffet breakfast in morning with gluten free items available. The wheelchair accessible room was HUGE yet the washroom was compact and a bit bizzare like the shower controls outside of the shower area which made it hard for me to deal with when sitting on a shower shair in the shower. I think the EU regulations coming into eemffect in 2025 they will have to address some deficiencies in accessibility - like being able to use the patio. Dissapointed with the wine situation as on website it indicates wine/beer/ soft drinks. We got a bottle of wine given to us but do not drink or like white wine. I asked for apple juice and they gave us denatured white wine. Would much rather been asked what option we preferred.

This was our most expensive booking during our travels in Ireland, and had less to offer than our much less expensive bnb. We were booked into a family room for starters which had a bunk bed and a kids size plastic table....for 2 seniors? The staff found us a more suitable room. There was a table with one chair....we are 2 people. Barest amount of towels. No hair dryer and could smell cleaning products. Bed was fine. Very disappointing overall.

Food was cold and in short supply. Staff were uninterested in this matter when raised.
Placed at a table despite wishing to sit somewhere else then spent our time being bumped into by other guests in a crowded room.

Great hotel!
It was an amazing hotel, we loved it. The staff (Wendy in particular) were very helpful and friendly. The room was enormous and well stocked with a great bathroom and products. They'd even put stuff out for the kids, such as a mini tipee, sweets and activities.
The only thing the hotel could really do with are some car charging points, but this is only a minor point as there were some EV chargers relatively nearby.
Will definitely visit again when we are in the area.
