Staff is great, Luis from the restaurant did an amazing job. Food had good flavor, but they need to add more dishes to buffet. The hotel rooms themselves need an update, it's an old building but overall I enjoyed my stay in Costa de Oro and would stay again.

This hotel was not what it looks in the picture's. Property is VERY outdated. Our room had mold all over and when i say all over i literally mean there was mold everywhere even the curtains had mold. The shower was so disgusting i refused to shower there. It was one of the worst stays I have ever stayed in. Please if you want to enjou your stay at mazatlan just stay at another resort. Mold is so bad for your health I dont understand how this Property is still open. The staff on the other hand were the sweetest that i will rate except the receptionist. AVOID STAYING HERE

The bedding is very cheap, very disappointed due the broken safe in the room. I believe is over price for the old suite we got. The only great thing was the ocean views from the balcony.

The facility needs repair. Specially the air conditioning system. It was leaking and very cold. We couldn’t adjust the temperature. The hotel is in a good location. Close to the beach and restaurants.

Its old and thr food and drinks are horrible ..our suite was very big .dated but big. The thing that really drove me nuts was we paid for 3 nights. Our flight didnt get in till almkst midnight. We ate once at the buffet and it was horrible and their booze is the worst on earth .so we drank nothing. Never in jn my life at an all inclusive were we kicked out if our flight was later than checn out ..we couldn't even sit by the pool we had to leave and come back for our bags 5 hours later. Dont bother theres way better hotels for not nuch more

Property is old and doesn’t look like it’s been renovated since opening.
Air Conditioning in room did not work and asked to get it looked at and never heard a response. The room was a very warm 75 and humid with a mildew smell.
The towel card system is a joke. Never had any dry towels and the towel kiosk closes before the pool closes. So if you wanted a dry towel on the way to your room you were out of luck. The staff was rude and didn’t even try to help. The pool food was bland. The only thing that we looked forward to was the proximity to the beach.
