8/10 Very good

When the ref is open, we saw the freezer part is not clean, looked like frozen spills from something. Dust everywhere, from TV stand to table. Other than that, our stay was good.

Not great.
90 percent of staff were absolutely miserable. The restaurant hotel took way longer than I have ever experienced. The waterpark was fantastic, but the actual hotel and staff were honestly horrible.

Cold water, poor management, no quality standards
Water in the water park was freezing cold. Parking lot was an ice rink although it hadn’t snowed in a week. We told the front desk on check in that the parking lot needs salt and they stated “I know it does but there is nothing I can do about that, I’ve only worked here two weeks and don’t know who takes care of it”. Save your money and go to great wolf lodge. Water park was not busy but the lines for attractions were long due to not many tubes and broken equipment. They are running on a shoestring and should be embarrassed.

Stay away
Water park was small and crouded 40 todlers in a pool the size of an small inground pool. 25 kids in line for the qave ride. Food was what you would expect mass proccessed junk nothing healthy really available unless you left. The worst was the paper thin walls and plastic sheets. What you dont clean or you have bed bugs! Poor excuse for a resort. Save your money go to Pump House in Jay Peak VT.

6/10 Good

The stay was good - not spectacular but good. I was a little grossed out because there was a large amount of hair in the bathtub drain which indicates that the tub was not cleaned which makes me wonder if the room was cleaned. Room check in is at 4pm and when we arrived at 5:30, we were told we would need to wait to check in until 6pm which is disappointing because the room was very expensive. Thankfully we had to wait just 10 minutes more, the front desk staff was really accommodating and friendly. I did have to go back down to get a blanket and pillows for the pull out bed because there were none in the room. Another issue we ran into is that the television didn’t work. Granted you don’t go to a hotel to watch TV but we had two young children with us and it’s helpful to be able to turn it on for them when showering or just to get some downtime. We did find one channel that worked but unfortunately it wasn’t a kids channel. There was plenty of stuff to do, and we did bring our phones for when the kids needed a solid 15 minutes of downtime. I think we were most disappointed with the lack of breakfast. We have been staying at the hotel every year for 3 years now and there used to be an amazing breakfast buffet there that was included and this year we were told that it was now no longer in the ballroom but the small dining area, but it was also no longer included. Again, paying over $500 for a room for a single night, you would think it would include breakfast.

2/10 Poor

1. No vending machines had any water - Starbucks was now closed so couldn’t get any. 2.) tv didn’t work. 3.) sat down at the restaurant waited 30 mins no one came to the table after they were the ones who sat us there. We had to leave to get dinner, and to get a case of water. Arcade was down and very unfriendly front desk staff.

We haven’t stayed here in a few years and I remember why. The check in process takes way too long. They couldn’t find my reservation for 25 minutes with a confirmation number. The room is outdated and smells musty. The bathroom shower makes a horrific squealing noise like a whistling tea kettle when it boils the entire time you’re trying to take a relaxing shower and the bathroom ceiling is full of black mold. Indoor waterpark only open 4 hours. 4-8. Check in is at 4. You already lose an hour from check in. The cafe downstairs for a $7.00 cup of coffee always has a sign be back in 30 minutes. Hotels should provide a free coffee station to guests 24/7. It’s 11:45pm and there are kids constantly running up and down the halls, screaming and slamming doors. We will go back to staying at the Hampton Inn.
