Very nice room and excellent location. The only issue was the shower head that didn't let enough water through but everything else was perfect.

2/10 Poor

Booked room. Showed up the day of a little early to make sure reservation and parking was correct. They informed us that the room was not ready and to come back a little later. We came back only to be told that they were sorry, but they were overbooked and over sold and they could accomadate two parties in this hotel and send the remaining party to a brother hotel. We refused and they send us to another hotel with two seperate rooms. HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW HOW MANY ROOMS YOU HAVE AND OVERBOOK ESPECIALLY WHEN ONE IS A TOURIST IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY? WE WILL NO LONGER DO BUSINESS HERE. OUR FIRST TIME AND HAD A HORRID EXPERIENCE.

If you are on a budget this is a good option. You basically get what you pay for, the rooms are small, beds are ok, bathroom is ok, the hotel is clean. They don't provide hand towels in the bathroom, we didn't have hot water in the shower -it wasn't really an issue for us, since it the weather was terribly hot. There is no safe in the rooms, whrn we requested one, they provided it but stated that it couldn't be screwed/anchored to the wall, which it defeats the purpose of having it. It's located withing walking distance to many restaurants, coffee shops, convenience stores, pharmacies. This is not a hotel I would recommend unless it's your last resource.

8/10 Very good

This property is really close to the main square and it's easily walkable. The room was cute, there's a little courtyard inside, and there's water coolers to refill bottles. The pool was small but that's fair for being in the city. The AC in the room we had didn't work very well, the floor is stone that covered everything in dust, if you walked on it in bare feet then got in bed you ended up with brown foot prints on your sheets, if you dropped clothes on the floor they got covered in dust, it brushed right off but still annoying. The shower in our room was really hard to control, the temps were really slow to respond, if you wanted to turn down the heat be prepared for to wait a couple minutes, also the water pressure was terrible. Bed wasn't very comfortable. The weirdest thing was that we had a do not disturb sign on the door and someone came in to our room and took our towels without leaving new ones. There's a sign in the bathroom saying hang your towels if you want to reuse them and put them on the floor if you want new ones, our towels were hanging when we left and when we came back the towels were gone. Nothing else in the room seemed different, the bed wasn't made, nothing was cleaned, just the towels gone.

Colonial property - our rooms was charming - 12ft ceiling! Vintage wood door. Spacious Excellent location for walking to historic centre and markets where THE LOCALS shop! Some of the staffn, although friendly, did not seem well-trained or knowledgeable. Breakfast was mediocre. Our room, although charming, was on the stairway to the front entrance that opens to the street, was very noisy at night. Although charming, you may prefer a room further back.
