Place was a real dump. Used soap in the shower,a half chewed jolly rancher on the floor,paint on bathroom door removed. Found two cockroaches runnig through the the bedroom.Room was nasty. I would have gone someplace else if i could have driven any farther,but i could not.Bed sheets and pillows were clean,so made the best of it. Never stay in a motel6 again....never!

I'm giving it a 5 star overall rating because c'mon, it's a motel 6 in the middle of nowhere, anyone expecting anything more than what it is must be crazy. Yea there are some weirdos walking around at night, but oddly enough, I felt safe with the cameras that are literally in every single passageway. I walked my dog in the middle of the night with zero issues. I even saw people leave their mountain bikes on their car without issue... although I probably wouldn't. If you're trying to lay your head on a bed for the cheap and hit up Bryce Bike park, this isn't that bad.

There are two separate hotels here in a single building. A Motel 6 and a Studio 6. The area seems like it may be a little sketchy at times, but there are lots of bright lights and we had zero problems. The room is on par with expectations. It's fine for an overnight stop.

Won't Be Back--
While the beds and the room were adequate to good - and the room had a nice big TV and kitchenette area - there were some major issues: the air conditioner was all banged up and smelled stale, the dishes in the kitchenette didn't seem to be clean and were kind of sticky (gross), so we stayed away from those, and the one bathroom wall looked like it wasn't clean. It was yucky. The tub area also didn't look fully clean, and there was a hair in the tub. Yeah, the bathroom was kind of scary. I typically wouldn't put up with it, but we were just using the room to sleep.

Mount Jackson is a small town nestled between Harrisburg and Winchester. The location is very convenient to see the small towns of Shenandoah valley. The motel itself has been freshly renovated as pictured on this website. The clerks are super friendly and helpful and you are greeted with a smile. Wash clothes and towels are replenished every day. The gas station and eight eating establishments are also located nearby along with a grocery store and discount store. The motel is located right off the exit and the area is busy, but the motel property is quiet and safe with plenty of parking. Also, there are some interesting eats in the small towns of Shenandoah valley.

Would not recommend to friends or family, the floors could be cleaner and bathroom as well, the entire place needs an upgrade.

Pay more and stay somewhere decent.
Had 2nd floor room. Pulled into parking space in front of a room with a red 'Entry Prohibited' sign on the door. Room was full of mold. It was visible from outside on the curtains. Floor of room was dirty. Turned on shower in the morning and it ran orange (yes orange) water.

The room was poorly cleaned, burn holes in the comforter, and a pincher bug jumped out of the bed when the sheets were moved. Pool was out of order, we decided not to stay and only half a refund was offered. Manager was incredibly rude and confrontational.
