The Hotel Goldried is part of a fairly confusing resort complex up on a hill. We had a hard time finding the hotel entrance and where to park. After speaking with reception, we parked in a hotel parking garage that was very difficult to navigate (particularly if you had a larger vehicle) because it was so narrow.
The hotel has a lot of amenities, including two swimming pools (one outdoor and one indoor), a pool table, a piano bar, two restaurants and a (sadly dilapidated) outdoor Ping Pong table. Upon check-in, we were given tickets for free drinks at the piano bar.
The breakfast was very good, extensive with a lot of variety and both hot and cold items. We also ate at one of the hotel's two restaurants for dinner. We were given free mini appetizers (amuse bouche) as well as free aperitifs at the end of our meal. However, we were also charged for tap water after we were told it would be free.
Our room was of a good size and average cleanliness. It was somewhat worn and needed some updating. It had a good size patio with a view of the town below and the mountains.
