The Screen, Kyoto
We had a great time at the screen in Kyoto. The staff was very friendly and our check-in/check-out was seemless. They even packed us a to-go box on our final day when we had to leave early morning.
Tip: all their suites have different designs. The staff was accomodating for us to try another suite, so we got to experience different designs. Much appreciated!

Great boutique hotel!
Fabulous quiet location which was close to public transportation. Taxis were also easily accessible. Staff was attentive. Breakfast were excellent and accommodated several food allergies. Each room is designed by a different decorator and was unique. Morning runs along the river were a great way to start the day!

The screen is a hotel with a stunning g design, the look from outside gives you no idea of the beautiful interior. All rooms are individually designed and ours was amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful and it is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. It is slightly away from Gion but is very close to beautiful sights.

Lovely room. Staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Food in restaurant was great, both breakfast & dinner. Little bit out of way of major sights, walkable to Nishiki market.

Amazing stay in Kyoto
Prime location across from the Imperial Palace grounds, beautiful room overlooking an ancient shrine, fantastic Japanese breakfast, and the warmest welcome from staff with welcome drinks and gourmet chocolates sent to our room. Large jacuzzi tub with a separate shower and a walk-in closet! The bed was huge and so very comfy, separate sitting area, too. We had no issues getting cabs right out front all hours of the day and night. The desk clerk was helpful in making dinner and spa reservations. 5 stars for this beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Kyoto.
