Gem of a Hotel in Midtown
Amazing gem of a hotel! Stayed at many properties in the Times Square area and this is my new favorite. This is a new property in excellent condition with well-proportioned rooms, especially by NYC standards. Great location, steps to Penn Station and Macy's.

Great Hotel, Odd Bathroom
Wonderful room. Great location to MSG. One thing that was not to my taste was the frosted barn door style bathroom door and the glass surround (facing into the room) for the shower. The shower had a shade that came down on the inside of the room to provide privacy. Personal preference here, but I didn’t feel like it provided a lot of privacy. Super clean and comfortable room other than that. I just prefer a more traditional bathroom with a door and a fan!

Great Hotel
Best hotel have stayed in New York from check in to departure. A lot of New York hotels have not invested or modernised their properties for a number of years, this hotel isn’t just a cash grab and was modern and excellent standard of products and finishing.. Got an upgrade with a brilliant view, which made a big difference to the stay.

Great Location!
Great spot about six blocks south of Times Square. Easy accessibility to train and subway. Walk to Chelsea. Great bar. Gym is a huge bonus. Would definitely stay here again when in town to visit!

Awesome Stay!
Great location, very clean. There was construction going on, but it did not interrupt our stay. The staff was very friendly. The hotel held our luggage while we toured the city and even worked hard to get our room ready before the original check in time. I would definitely stay again & recommend to friends/family.

Staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful, provided some good recommendations which I definitely appreciated. The view from the room was very nice, most wall outlets were not working but luckily two of them were, it's not the most ideal for a family but for us it was okay so I didn't need to complain. The 7th floor had a very nice seating area, was quite lovely. The restaurant on the 5th floor has a nice rooftop patio but check out other rooftops in the area. There is a lot of nice ones! Location is very convenient right on 7th Ave. Walking distance to Times Square, there are endless dining options just steps away, very short walking distance to Macy's and 5th Ave as well as Penn Station. Had a great stay so thank you Renaissance, see you next time!

I realize the renovations of the property are not finished, and I am looking forward to seeing the new lobby. My room was surprisingly large for a NYC hotel. The bathroom was so modern and having a refrigerator in the room is a plus. Te bed was super comfortable. The elevator system is amazing and so high tech, although the wait time for the elevator can be a bit long. The restaurant, Versa, has great atmosphere and food. I enjoyed the breakfast and a dinner. The wait staff in Versa is very efficient and nice. I plan to stay at this hotel again when I visit NYC.
