Everything was perfect the lady in the reception was very lovely and polite and our room was no less than 7 star hotel. It was very clean as well. The only bad thing was it was booked for the next day and we couldn’t book for 2 days ☺️

Bike tour review
Check in was easy and staff was very helpful. I was traveling with a bike and they provided me with a key to be able to get into the locked facility any time i wanted. The restaurant food was excellent and good value as well.

No elevator, be prepared for stairs. Mattress on bed is foam. If you're accustomed to a stiff mattress, beware. Front counter is only open 4p-8p for checkin or any other requests. Breakfast is 10 euros pp for what you get free at Holiday Inn Express (and most other budget hotels).

Mixed experience in this hotel
Mixed experience. Albeit large room but under the roof and very sticky at night as no A/C or fan in the room. Also no small fridge to cool drinks. Payment with Visa debit was not possible and card payment only with 5 Euros extra charge. Breakfast average, some service not friendly. Location excellent right on the Rhine river banks in the picturesque town of Laufenburg. Only Greek restaurant on site.

Riverside Hotel with restaurant next door.
Beautiful spot alongside the river with the German Swiss Border running through the middle. Very welcoming reception and she moved her car so we could park. Room very nice. Restaurant attached was amazing. Sat by river to eat Greek food and given an Ouzo to drink at the end of the meal. Felt like we were back at home.

Great location - beautiful town!!!
Beautiful place to stay. Location is gorgeous. We were in the room on the very top floor. Hotel was difficult to find and check in hours were between 4 and 6. Very difficult to navigate if you are traveling a long distance. LOVED the town. We went swimming at a beautiful pool just down the street one morning. Room was hot, a fan would've been great. Daughter got water all over the bathroom floor as she didn't close the shower door correctly, I assume. Room looked over the Rhine River. There is a restaurant just outside the hotel so if you want to go bed early you can't . Too much noise from downstairs outside patio. Also, I counted 50 stairs to get up to our room. If you have lots of luggage or are out of shape, request a lower floor. Roll away bed very uncomfortable. Daughter could feel every spring!! Overall a sweet place though and wonderful town. Worth the find.

Great room, ideal location in town. Nice restaurant next door. Owner / manager very pleasant and knowledgeable. Didn’t experience breakfast as visited family in area every morning but breakfast facilities appeared good. Great stay, will use again when in area. A+++
