Rantoul Family Sports Complex
Great location to stay if you are attending a sporting event at the Rantoul Family Sports Complex. It is within walking distance to the complex. Also, Walmart is close by and people can walk there from hotel as well.
I wanted to point out, that people in the town of Rantoul, Illinois are some of the nicest people I have ever met on a trip. It was a great stay.

Great place. Convenient off of I57 although there were no signs showing you how to get in (You go to stop light and go past Walmart). Quiet and great front desk.

All staff I interacted with were polite and friendly, including front desk, breakfast worker, and housekeeping.
I want to give a special shout-out to the very kind young woman staff member whose job title I'm unsure of. She was wearing a black shirt with black pants (I think), and she had an orange scarf around her head and was African American. When I got to my room after check-in, the key wouldn't work. She went upstairs to help three times for me and got a new key made--but there was some misunderstanding on my part, and I wish I had thanked her properly and given her a tip-- I'm a senior citizen and was too tired to think at that point. She was just 5 minutes from ending her shift as well. It was about 9pm on August 4th. If there is a way for me to send her a tip, please contact me on my email. Great location and staff. Noisy but hotel is located near a sports facility so probably to be expected. Elevator and halls were not real clean. Room was fairly clean.

Comfortable, Clean, modern rooms with plenty of useful storage. In room safe. Friendly staff w/ great Breakfast bar! Easy On, Easy Off w/ Free on-site parking. Only downside was longer than normal wait times & overcrowding due to there being only (1) elevator in building.

Great stay but pool was out of service
Kim, at the front desk, was amazing. So helpful when we needed to adjust our room count. Checked in on July 28th for an all weekend stay, only to find out the pool was out of service. This was a big disappointment as we were at an outside event all weekend and was really looking forward to taking a couple breaks in the middle of the day to come back to the hotel to swim because it was so hot. Everything else was nice, clean, breakfast was good.

Customer service to cancel reservations sucked!
We actually did not get to stay. We had a family member become sick and could not make it. When trying to cancel I tried to call the phone number on the site and it sent me to a call center that told me I needed customer service. He tells me he will text me the phone number and hangs up. I never got a text. I spent the next 30 minutes trying different phone numbers before I decided to try the hotel number again. This time I got a live person. She said she would cancel it and I would get an email verification. Never received the email but still got charged the full $582 for two nights that we didn’t even get to stay. I also looked on hotels.com to try to find information and could not. I will not be using hotels.com again.

Check in was simple. Amy is the one who helped us and was amazing! Very professional and sweet. Everything was nice except the pool. We were only stopping by for a few hours and my boys wanted to swim but when I took them down to the pool we couldn’t stay. There was all type of debris floating in the pool and plenty of black dirt in the hot tub. My husband went to report it and he was told that they would get it cleaned but yea it was never closed nor cleaned during our stay. That was the only disappointing part about it to us.
