Everything was great. My second time staying here. The room was very comfortable, though the TV remote didn't work unless I was right in front of the TV.

The inn owners own a very nice restaurant that is very close in old train station.
Great set up for breakfast.
Feels very safe as a woman would be very comfortable alone.

Overall, our stay here was simple and quiet. The town of Palmer isn't a thriving metropolis, and that's exactly what we wanted for our visit. The room itself was clean, easy to navigate and overall quite good. My wife and I would most likely visit again in the future.

We loved the building and the decor and the old fashioned big wooden cabinets and the organized breakfast area. The set up was so very convenient and comfortable. The best thing of all was Karen, one of the housekeepers, greeted us at the door and helped us with luggage. It was a pleasure chatting with her the following day too thank you for making our day so easy and comfortable!

Wonderful place with unique rooms. Very clean. Close to busy road and 4 of 5 rooms will have traffic noise. No staff on site due to small size but very nice overall.

Train Lovers!
Second time we have stayed here. Self check with easy to follow directions. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The train memoribilia is outstanding including a library of train books to browse through. Steaming Tender restaurant is within walking distance and has excellent food and service. Great stop if you plan to visit the area. Peaked Mountain and Echo Orchards Distillery and Winery is down the street in Monson.

A little surprised that we never met anybody during checkin, breakfast or checkout. The muffins were good and they were clear on what to expect, but other bed and breakfasts had made to order breakfasts. The bottled water were in glass bottles that were dusty, so not sure how fresh the water was. Overall a quiet clean place to stay otherwise.
